Deleted GTA 6 Insider Post Fuels Unverified Leak Chatter

A screenshot-and-delete post claiming insider knowledge of GTA 6 is making the rounds again, and one YouTuber thinks Rockstar's own hiring trail backs it up. None of it is confirmed.

By Cass Novak

The claim itself is simple enough to type into a search bar and that's exactly the problem: a post, a screenshot request, a deleted account, and no way to verify any of it after the fact. According to Will Mac, someone claiming to have worked on GTA 6 posted details, told readers to screenshot before it vanished, then pulled the account entirely. That sequence is a format, not evidence, and it's one gaming leak culture has seen enough times to recognize on sight.

What gives it legs this time, per Will Mac's video, is that Rockstar's own public comments are allegedly lining up with pieces of the deleted post after the fact. That's the kind of corroboration that sounds compelling until you remember it's still one channel connecting two dots that were never confirmed to be related in the first place. Rockstar hasn't addressed the post, the account, or the supposed overlap, and nothing here carries anything close to an official statement.

The NPC studio angle

The other half of the video leans on something more concrete: Rockstar reportedly stood up a studio focused specifically on NPC behavior, and Will Mac argues that's the likely source of whoever posted the leak. A studio dedicated to non-player characters is a real structural detail worth noting on its own, since it tells you where Rockstar is sinking specialized headcount ahead of a release this large. But 'likely source' is doing a lot of lifting in that sentence. Working at a studio that touches GTA 6 doesn't make every departing poster's claim true, and it doesn't make the deleted account's details verified just because the geography lines up.

What's actually confirmed here

  • A post claiming insider knowledge appeared and was deleted, as described by Will Mac.
  • Rockstar operates a studio reportedly focused on NPC systems, per the same video.
  • No statement from Rockstar or Take-Two addresses the leak, the account, or the claimed connection between the two.

That's the full list. Everything else is inference, some of it reasonable, none of it sourced beyond a single channel's read of public interview comments and a deleted screenshot nobody else can independently check. Treat the 'more real every day' framing the way you'd treat any other marketing superlative: as a claim to test, not a result to bank on, because right now the only thing that's actually measurable is that Rockstar still hasn't said a word.

GTA 6 leaks have a long history of recombining the same three or four rumors into new packaging, and this one fits that pattern more than it breaks it. Until Rockstar confirms or denies anything about the deleted post or the NPC studio's role in it, file this under watch, not under fact.
