Just Dance: Decades of Hits Gets a Switch 2 Release Date
Ubisoft's dance franchise is getting a nostalgia-flavored sequel with a November 10 date on Switch 2, and Nintendo just dropped the songlist tease to prove it.
Nintendo dropped a trailer for Just Dance: Decades of Hits, and the pitch is right there in the name: old hits, same formula, new console. The Switch 2 Edition lands November 10, 2026, according to Nintendo of America, with a songlist teaser meant to get you nodding before you've seen the price.
Strip the marketing language and here's what "powered by music, movement, and shared memories" actually means: you stand in your living room, wave your arms at a screen, and try not to knock over a lamp. That's the whole pitch, and it's the pitch Just Dance has made every single year since forever. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Game nights need a reason to exist, and a pile of familiar songs is as good a reason as any.
What the trailer doesn't give you is a real tracklist, just a flash of recognizable tunes meant to trigger a little dopamine hit before the credits roll. No price, no confirmation of how many songs actually ship, no word on whether this plays any different from last year's cardio session with a controller. Just a date and a vibe.
This is also Nintendo's business, not a third party's: Decades of Hits is getting its own Switch 2 edition rather than just riding along on backward compatibility, which at least means somebody bothered to tune it for the new hardware instead of slapping a sticker on last year's cartridge.
November 10 will tell us if the dance floor's actually worth showing up to, or if it's just the same playlist wearing a new jacket.
