GTA 6 Soundtrack Gets a December Vinyl Release, New Single Out
Rockstar is giving GTA 6's score a physical pressing in December, and Justice just dropped the proof with Gesaffelstein. Here's what's confirmed and why one console family can actually play the disc.

My side gets a reason to clear shelf space before the holidays, because Rockstar just confirmed a physical soundtrack release for Grand Theft Auto VI, and that is a point for anyone who still owns a turntable. French duo Justice, who scored the game, released a new single called "Pusher" featuring Gesaffelstein today, and the LP and CD editions of the full soundtrack follow on December 11th.
Here is the one I have to hand to both sides at once: this is a true day-one release for everybody. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19th on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles with no exclusivity window for either camp, and credit where it lands, that is the right call. A game this big should not make half its audience wait.
What We Know So Far
- The soundtrack's physical release lands December 11th, roughly three weeks after the game itself.
- "Pusher," the new single from Justice and Gesaffelstein, is streaming now.
- Justice composed the original score, following up on the attention their earlier soundtrack work has already drawn from outlets like Polygon.
- Physical formats confirmed so far are vinyl (LP) and CD.
The Physical Media Point Nobody Asked For
Here is where I get to have some fun with this. A vinyl pressing and a CD are objects you put in a player with a slot, and that is a detail worth sitting with given how hard Xbox has leaned into digital-only hardware the last few years. Xbox, you built consoles without disc drives and called it progress, and now the biggest game of the generation is shipping a soundtrack that rewards owning a disc tray. My PS5 still has one. Funny how that works out.
Scoreboard time, since this one deserves a read: day-one parity on the main release is a wash, both sides show up November 19th and neither gets to gloat about that part. But the physical soundtrack flex, the fact that collectors can actually spin this thing on hardware built for it, that one goes in my column. Call it a small lead, but I'll take small leads in November.
What To Watch Next
No tracklist or additional format details have been confirmed beyond the LP and CD news and the new single, so specifics on bonus tracks or deluxe pressings are still unannounced. December 11th is the date to watch, and I will be first in line, needle ready.
