Cyberleek Claims New GTA 6 Leak, Proof Still Missing
A Reddit thread says Cyberleek uploaded 25 minutes of new Grand Theft Auto VI footage. Nobody who is talking about it can actually open the file.
A Reddit thread and a YouTube description are the entire case for twenty five new minutes of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay, and neither one can actually show it to you. According to GameSpot, the leaker known as Cyberleek, quiet since a run of shorter clips in August, has apparently resurfaced with a zip file reportedly titled "Extended Leek," a jab at Rockstar's own "GTA 6: An Extended Look" trailer. The original poster on the Cyberleek subreddit said they spotted the upload and shared an image of it. They also said they could not download it themselves.
That has not stopped the thread from filling with secondhand description. Commenters claim the footage mixes new gameplay and cutscenes, and one alleges a scene of protagonist Jason running around naked, a claim that fits the pattern only because other nudity in the game, including a shower scene and a storyline involving a nudist colony, has already been separately confirmed this week. None of that confirms this particular file exists in the form being described. What is reported, not established, is the footage itself.
The timing lines up with something stranger than the leak itself. Reports earlier in the week noted a mysterious poll had appeared on a site tied to the operation, with an October 8 deadline, and that a cryptocurrency wallet linked to the project had shown renewed activity after weeks of silence. Whether that activity belongs to whoever ran the original Cyberleek account or to someone else entirely was not established by either account of events. A wallet waking up the same week a subreddit starts buzzing is the kind of coincidence that pays for itself either way: in traffic if the file is real, in traffic if it never surfaces at all.
As MrBossFTW frames it, the video promises a look at the Thrillbilly Mud Club, off-road races, and more car customization alongside Jason and Lucia. The channel's description is the uploader's own claim about what the footage shows, not confirmation that anyone has watched it end to end. Rockstar has not commented on this specific upload, and no outlet in this reporting has verified the file beyond what commenters say they have seen.
This is the same script that ran in August, when an earlier batch of Cyberleek clips was substantial enough that Rockstar eventually addressed it directly, which is precisely why each new wave gets covered again: the last one turned out to carry something real inside the noise, so nobody wants to be the outlet that ignored this one and was wrong. Grand Theft Auto VI is weeks from release. Until Rockstar says otherwise, the only footage anyone can verify watching is the footage Rockstar released itself.
