Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave DLC Wave One Is Live Now
The first chunk of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave's expansion pass landed today, with two more waves promised through 2027.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave just got its first real top-up today, and it arrived exactly on schedule. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have switched on the opening wave of the game's expansion pass, the first of three planned drops that will stretch out through 2027, as confirmed by Eurogamer and the launch video from Nintendo UK.
You know how this part usually goes: new weapons to tinker with, new outfits to dress your favorites in, new allies to recruit, a sliver of extra story to chew on. That is exactly what wave one brings, per the pass's own listing, and it is a tidy little bundle if you were already planning to live in this army roster for another year.
Here is what actually matters if you are deciding whether to buy in today:
- Wave one of the expansion pass is available now on the Switch 2 eShop.
- The pass covers three waves total, with the remaining two arriving on a schedule that runs into 2027.
- Content spans new weapons, outfits, allies, and additional story scenes.
- Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are the developers behind the base game and this pass.
I already told you last week that a pass sold in three installments should be judged whole, not on its prettiest opening piece, and nothing about today changes that math. Buying wave one alone just means paying full admission to watch the first act of a play you already know has two more.
